__ The greatest thing in today's NAGAOKA is the Fireworks Festival on August 2nd and 3rd in every year. The biggest bulets of wireforks have 3 feet diameter, that spreads 2,000 feet diameter in the air. But it should be noted that this firework is held in order to commemorate the tragedy of the Nagaoka Air Raid. The firework is beautiful but we have to think of agonies of those who were burned to death on August 1st in 1945.
