Welcome to www.echigonagaoka.com, this web site is a privately-managed one.
The purpose of this site is to describe preciousness of peace through a disaster of war.
The disaster is Nagaoka Airraid, which happened onto citizens of Nagaoka on August 1st, 1945.
Approximately 1,500 people were killed just in one night by fire bobming.
Although I had not experienced the air raid, I tried describing the disaster in this web site.
I hope that a visitor to this site knows how a war is disastrous.
Apart from war/peace issues, this site has a lot of contents. I think this site shows my personal history. The oldest part of this site was opened to the web on July 7th, 2002. Although very few visitors come here, the site owner tries to add contents on this site. Last Updated on January 15, 2012. |
