Every time I go to business trip and stay night, I make a hotel reservation through Rakuten Travel. But I always have to input date twice or three times to make the system know what day I would like to stay a hotel. You don't input the date on the front page of Rakuten Travel. At first you have to designate the city you are going to and to select a hotel, then light green table appears, then you may input your check-in and check-out dates. When you get to the page with light green colored table, you will see the date you have input on the first page has already been changed to the default date. I think this should be improved. Please, someone works for Rakuten Travel.
Another defect of Rakuten Travel is that you cannot find where to logout. I think that web site it needs login should clearly display where to logout. But in Rakuten Travel, I don't know how to logout from their service, so I just close the tab, windows to browser. It makes me anxious because login-logout status is not certain. Please someone in charge of that fix the problem!
By the way, I noticed that someone makes a direct link to my JPEG image file. Access log analyzer made me know that. Then I thought that I was going to replace the image of Sakura flower into another JPEG (but with the same file name) which says "The web page you are looking at now uses the image file on www.echigonagaoka.com without permission". Maybe it embarrasses the site owner, and makes visitors uncomfortable. So I decided not to do that. And I would not like to waste of my time for those who don't care about delicacy. Instead, I just put small indications at right bottom of the image files. Do you think it is effective to avoid duplications, although it needs to make some effort to do this?
I noticed that Ms. felis_azuri has written very good posts on her fc2 blog. Naito Omotteiru Meni Sabetsu wa Utsuranai (#1) Nara, Sono Kotoba wo Tsukawazuni Tameshite Miyou (#2) The posts have pointed out very important problems to us (of course the word "us" includes men and women). But it's my sorrow that I can neither translate into English about what is being discussed nor express my own impression about the issue. If the posts are completely well translated into English, it should be good examples how Japanese people thinks about their own society. And if I am allowed to say something, let me just say a little. One of my colleagues said that he does not have a bag or briefcase in any single day, when he gets on commute train. He, without having anything on his hands, just grips horizontal steel pipes near ceiling with both hands in the morning commute train. It may be called "Banzai Style". He wants to show that he cannot conduct any pervasive acts to women around him. Probably I should do the same, But I always carry my bag which is not so small. And times that I spend in a commute train are very precious for me to read so many documents and technical papers in a train before I get to the destination. I usually have a document on one hand and grip a strap on another hand. Holding a book with both hands without gripping is unstable in shaking train. So the only thing that I can do in the crowded commute train is to avoid women and stand by men like me. They are usually middle aged sweaty (sometimes smelly) salary men. Standing side by side with each shoulders touching most of the time with such guys is not so comfortable but far better than to be suspected as a groper. In the comments in the post, I agree with what Mr. gKumvUXs wrote at 2009/06/07 08:28 with the title "My Self Defense Technique(#3)". I don't want to lose my career as a Japanese company man through many years because of being suspected to perversive acts to women in a train.
Um..., I should have divided today's post in two. I should go to bed right now.
