A guy whose Hatena ID is "munyuu" wrote dirty comments on Mr./Ms.(I'm not sure) bliefox014's post on June 2nd, 2009(#1). On the post, Mr./Ms.bluefox014 quoted records written by Japanese and wrote "You can confirm the existence of Nanjing Massacre only by Japanese Forces' records(#2)". The post is a very good collection that proves how the Nanjing Massacre was and how Japanese Forces committed sinful act on the Chinese land. Below the post there were 60 comments that are tit for tat between munyuu and others. I think that what this munyuu wrote is a typical Japanese rightist's repetition with a little new twist. It is indicated his comment, "It is an insincerity that guys affirming the massacre say nothing about what enemy Chinese Nationalist Party had done, while saying they are going to point out historical facts(#3)"
Since this kind of accusation is so many times repeated by Japanese right wings, I think that what munyuu says is also a typical Japanese rightists' excuse. They say, for example, "It's unfair if you criticize Nanjing Massacre without saying anything about what C-government had done in Tibet", "It's irrational if you just talk about the bad aspects of Japanese colonialization of Taiwan without mentioning 228 incident by Chinese Nationalist Party Government", and so on. When people are talking about Japanese Imperial Forces' wrongdoings that damaged other Asian regions so terribly, rightists always point out other incidents and start crying that Japan is not the only country that did bad things. It simply means that Japanese rightists do not want to face the historical facts. If they think they can make Japan's criminal acts less sinful by bringing up other country's such acts, they are just stupid and childish. It is like when a school boy is scolded by his teacher for chatting during a class, the child says "I'm not the only one who is chatting!". It is similar in terms of childishness. Besides, it is not necessary to point out the brutality of Nationalist Party because it is a kind of common knowledge that everyone knows.
Munyuu seems that he wants to say that Nanjing Massacre is a tiny thing if you compared its magnitude to what Chinese Nationalist Party (Kuomintang) did to their own people. But is it a thing that Japanese are allowed to say? My answer is simply NO. They are two different things that Chinese Nationalist Government killed Chinese people and Japanese Imperial Army as aggressor killed Chinese people. It is very offensive if you compare the two and say that smaller killings are less sinful and in particularly you are a person in the aggressive country. Munyuu is not sorry about those Chinese who were killed by Kuomintang, he just utilize their death in order to underestimate Japanese wrongdoing. I think what he is saying is unforgivable.
I have written that what munyuu writes is typical rightists’ cliche with a new twist. What made me think there is a little new twist in his words is that he mentioned brutal acts by Nationalist Party of China. So far, Japanese rightists have been accusing of everything about Communist China. Although which Chinese government you criticize is a kind of a matter of freedom of expression, I just wonder that whether it is okay to criticize Kuomintang from his stand point. Japanese right wings have always been proud of saying that Japan has never surrender to the Communist China. It is sure that the counterpart that Japanese Imperial Forces surrendered to was Kuomintang Regime. It was on September 9th, 1945. I don't understand why right wings are proud that Japan did not surrender to Communist China, because the corrupt Nationalist Party was pushed out by Communist from the main land in 1949 when it was just four years later since the surrender. And it is very interesting that this time, munyuu pointed out killings by Kuomintang to underestimate Japanese wrongdoing on the Chinese land.
It does not necessarily means that I support Communist China, but it was a fact in the history that who saved Chinese people from the brutal and corrupt Nationalist Party was Communist in the moment of 1949. So it seems quite weird that a Japanese rightist is emphasizing wrongdoings of Kuomintang. For me, emphasizing the brutality of Kuomintang might result in raising the value of victory by the Communist. Does munyuu realize that? If I were a rightist, I don't want to admit that Japan surrendered to such corrupt regime that was soon defeated by Communist, although I will never be a rightist. It is important to know that Japanese Army went to China and conducted an aggressive war that damaged Chinese people by a huge magnitude. Pointing out brutality of Kuomintang cannot keep Japan's wrongdoings under the hat. In addition to that, in the Mr./Ms. bluefox014's post, so many people have made responses but munyuu has not yet replied to them properly. So I have a simple conclusion that who is insincerity is nobody but "munyuu".
